Divorce Laws in Illinois

Dear Mr. Cross,
I believe that the divorce laws in illinois need to be addressed and modified. Why is it if a married couple cannot afford college, that they don't have to pay, but a divorced couple is forced to pay? Why would a father be forced to pay room and board to a mother if the child is living at home. Why do these attorneys leave loop holes in decrees so that to get anything done you have no choice but to hire a lawyer and then next thing you know, they drag things out in court to make alot of money off the client.
