Bridge Dollars to Business

Instead of wasting money and time trying to work out a deal with MO on building a bridge for Millions if not Billions of dollars why don't we give this to businesses to move to the Illinois side of the river? Think how far that would go and plus no expensive maintenance on a bridge. Use this money for tax breaks or what ever business need to come over to south central Illinois. We have the people already here. Many would love not to cross a bridge to go to work or pay taxes in two states. There is more then enough land on the 255 loop and that's accessable for almost anyone who lives in Illinois and works in MO. Please bring jobs to the Illinois side for the sake of travel time and gas and the pure fact of not having to drive over a crowed bridge and deal with MO traffic.
