Can't Drive 65

Increase the speed limit to 70. There is not an interstate in IL that can' t be safely drivin at 70 mph. Most 4 lanes are the same. Missouri,Arkansas, and Tennesse are have either mountains or larger hills in their state, yet they maintain a 70 mph.

A prohibition on hiring relatives of elected officials. If an elected official doesn't understand that using their office to enrich their family sends the wrong message, they can probably justify anything.

 Legalizing Video Gaming by Adonna from Sandwich

Here's the idea:

Illinois is obviously in dire need of a new revenue source. The inner city schools are underfunded, and very sad in comparison to the suburbs, and in the suburbs, such as Sandwich, the tax rate is going sky high. My property taxes have more than doubled in 10 years. Why not approve video gaming in the bars and taverns.
